Position: Business Systems Analysts

Compensation: $35 – 45 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Lenexa, Kansas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-driven BSA who enjoys connecting business needs with practical, delivery-ready solutions. In this role, you’ll help shape new technology requests from the very start, support discovery and intake, and contribute to innovative work across business systems and AI-enabled initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead discovery discussions to define needs, goals, risks, and success measures
• Translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Document processes, requirements, and solution options clearly
• Own and support the project intake process from idea through handoff
• Facilitate canvas sessions and maintain intake documentation
• Partner with cross-functional teams on prioritization and delivery readiness
• Support AI use case intake, scoping, and documentation efforts
• Prepare backlog items for grooming, planning, and execution
• Assist with UAT, issue triage, and post-deployment support
• Help improve intake templates, workflows, and documentation standards

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong business analysis and requirements gathering experience
• Experience facilitating stakeholder discovery and process discussions
• Ability to write user stories and acceptance criteria
• Experience supporting project intake or portfolio funnel processes
• Comfort working in PPM, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and Azure DevOps
• Strong communication skills across business and technical teams
• Ability to manage ambiguous requests and ask strong follow-up questions
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum or DevOps delivery environments
• Must be local to the Kansas City metro
• Must be authorized to work without sponsorship

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with AI tools, prompt engineering, or AI use case support
• Exposure to D365 Finance & Operations or ServiceNow
• Experience with Power BI or Power Platform
• Background in ERP, integrations, reporting, or enterprise applications
• Familiarity with UAT, CRP, and deployment support activities
• Experience improving intake KPIs or workflow visibility
• Working knowledge of SQL or Copilot Studio
