Position: Help Desk Technician
Compensation: $ 30 – 35 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Houston, TX
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Help Desk Technician to join their team!
This is a great contract-to-hire opportunity for a service-driven IT professional who enjoys helping users and solving issues quickly. You’ll be the first point of contact for technical support, working in a hands-on environment where customer service, troubleshooting, and adaptability are key. This role also offers the chance to support device setup, onboarding, and day-to-day IT operations within a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Respond to IT requests through tickets, email, chat, walk-ins, and phone
- Provide timely support while meeting service-level expectations
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Escalate complex issues with clear documentation
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities
- Assist with device setup and lifecycle tasks
- Maintain documentation and knowledge base resources
- Follow IT security processes and support guidelines
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 2+ years of professional IT experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Experience with Microsoft applications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented approach
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Windows, Android, or iOS environments
- Familiarity with cloud-only environments
- Experience using remote support tools
- Background with ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira
- CompTIA A+, Network+, MS-900, or AZ-900 certifications

Other Information:
- Contract-to-hire opportunity
- Four days onsite to start
- Schedule will transition to a 3-2 hybrid model
- Role includes occasional lifting of boxes over 50 pounds
