Position: Product Designer

Compensation: $ 65 – 70 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Product Designer to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a UX-minded product designer who wants meaningful client-facing work and the chance to shape complex digital products. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams to solve real business problems, improve user workflows, and contribute across multiple client engagements as project needs evolve.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design intuitive product experiences for complex B2B environments
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and design leadership
• Participate in client meetings, workshops, and discovery sessions
• Translate user needs into effective product workflows
• Create and maintain design systems in Figma
• Review prototypes and refine designs through feedback
• Support UX research and conduct design audits
• Work through business requirements and user stories
• Ensure solutions are practical and buildable for engineering teams
• Present design decisions clearly to technical and business stakeholders

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 4–6+ years of product design or UX experience
• Strong foundation in UX principles and product thinking
• Advanced Figma skills
• Experience working on B2B or enterprise products
• Comfort working directly with clients and stakeholders
• Ability to explain design rationale clearly
• Experience collaborating with developers and product teams
• Strong portfolio demonstrating product design work

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Consulting or agency experience
• Experience in engineering or construction-related industries
• Background in energy, oil and gas, healthcare, or SaaS
• Experience with internal enterprise software
• Familiarity with AI tools in the design workflow
• Workshop facilitation or co-facilitation experience
• Experience with UX audits and design systems
• Exposure to technology integrations or product redesigns
