Position: Technical Lead

Compensation: $145000-$150,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Fully Remote

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Technical Lead to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a hands-on technical leadership role supporting a major cloud modernization initiative. You’ll help guide a lift-and-shift of a legacy monolithic application into Azure, working closely with a junior developer and QA team to drive progress, solve complex problems, and keep the project moving forward. If you enjoy leading through collaboration, mentoring others, and working on meaningful modernization work, this role offers a strong opportunity to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead a lift-and-shift modernization effort into Azure
• Support and mentor a junior developer
• Work closely with QA to support testing and delivery
• Handle complex technical decisions and implementation details
• Collaborate across teams to modernize legacy systems
• Maintain and improve core application functionality
• Contribute to API and backend development efforts
• Help guide technical direction with a strategic mindset

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong experience with SQL Server and T-SQL
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs
• Background in C# and ASP.NET Core 8.0+
• Experience with TypeScript and Angular
• Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate effectively
• Experience working on legacy application modernization
• Strong communication and team-oriented mindset
• Must be able to work without sponsorship

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with React
• Background in ERP or management systems
• Industry experience with dealer management systems
• Experience supporting cloud migrations
• Previous technical lead experience
• Familiarity with monolithic application environments
