Position: Director of IT Security

Compensation: $160,000 – $180,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Director of IT Security to join their team!

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a seasoned cybersecurity professional to shape enterprise security strategy, strengthen governance, and guide compliance initiatives across a complex global environment. In this role, you will help turn recent IT assessment findings into actionable improvements while supporting a confidential search for a critical working-leader position.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy across IT and OT environments
• Oversee CMMC, NIST, and other regulatory compliance initiatives
• Maintain SSPs, POA&Ms, policies, and audit evidence packages
• Drive enterprise risk assessments and remediation planning
• Manage security architecture, tools, and vulnerability programs
• Direct IAM, privileged access, and permission governance
• Strengthen data protection, DLP, and secure collaboration practices
• Guide incident response, monitoring, and resilience planning
• Evaluate third-party cybersecurity risk and supplier controls
• Develop policies, training, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security or related IT field
• Strong background in cybersecurity leadership and governance
• Experience with CMMC Level 2 and NIST frameworks
• Knowledge of compliance documentation and audit support
• Experience managing enterprise risk and remediation efforts
• Familiarity with security operations and incident response
• Experience with IAM, access controls, and data protection
• Ability to collaborate across IT, engineering, and operations

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• CMMC certification
• Cybersecurity certifications
• ERP or MRP implementation experience
• SAP implementation experience
• ITAR or defense-related experience
• International business experience
• Experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with M365, SharePoint, OneDrive, or Teams security
