Position: Network Administrator
Compensation: $100000 – $120000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Network Administrator to join their team!
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on network professional who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges and supporting a dynamic environment. In this role, you’ll partner closely with a senior network analyst to support, maintain, and improve a broad network landscape while also serving as a secondary resource for Windows infrastructure needs.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Support and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and SD-WAN environments
- Monitor network performance and recommend improvements
- Configure switches and assist with network deployments
- Help plan and implement new site rollouts
- Serve as an escalation point for network-related issues
- Assist with vendor coordination and outage response
- Support network security best practices and vulnerability reduction
- Create documentation and provide team guidance
- Assist with DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy troubleshooting
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of related work experience
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, routing, and switching
- Experience with Windows domain administration
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS
- Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Experience with cloud or virtual networking
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- CCNA or CISSP certification
- MCSE, PCNSA, or similar security certification
- Experience with SolarWinds, Wireshark, PowerShell, Cisco IOS, or Ubiquiti
- Azure or AWS networking experience
- SD-WAN experience, especially VeloCloud
- Citrix DaaS or Citrix ADC/NetScaler experience
- Understanding of fiber and copper cabling standards
