Position: Network Administrator

Compensation: $100000 – $120000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Network Administrator to join their team!

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on network professional who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges and supporting a dynamic environment. In this role, you’ll partner closely with a senior network analyst to support, maintain, and improve a broad network landscape while also serving as a secondary resource for Windows infrastructure needs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Support and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and SD-WAN environments
• Monitor network performance and recommend improvements
• Configure switches and assist with network deployments
• Help plan and implement new site rollouts
• Serve as an escalation point for network-related issues
• Assist with vendor coordination and outage response
• Support network security best practices and vulnerability reduction
• Create documentation and provide team guidance
• Assist with DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy troubleshooting

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, routing, and switching
• Experience with Windows domain administration
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS
• Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Experience with cloud or virtual networking
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• CCNA or CISSP certification
• MCSE, PCNSA, or similar security certification
• Experience with SolarWinds, Wireshark, PowerShell, Cisco IOS, or Ubiquiti
• Azure or AWS networking experience
• SD-WAN experience, especially VeloCloud
• Citrix DaaS or Citrix ADC/NetScaler experience
• Understanding of fiber and copper cabling standards
