Position: Controller

Compensation: $110,000 – $135,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Controller to join their team!

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting leader who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys building structure as a company continues to grow. The ideal candidate will step in, strengthen processes, and help guide the finance function through an exciting period of change, including a transition to a new ERP system.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Prepare accurate internal financial statements and reporting
• Reconcile bank accounts and line of credit accounts daily
• Strengthen internal controls and support compliance efforts
• Partner with leadership on budgeting and forecasting
• Support audits and coordinate with external advisors
• Improve accounting policies, procedures, and workflows
• Supervise and mentor accounting team members
• Analyze financial data to support business decisions

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with audits and external auditors
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivots and VLOOKUPs
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• CPA certification preferred
• Experience with Sage
• Exposure to NetSuite
• Background in growing or transitioning organizations
• Process improvement experience
• Experience supporting strategic finance initiatives
