Position: Payroll Coordinator

Compensation: $50,000 – $60,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Olathe, Kansas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Payroll Coordinator to join their team!

The team is navigating a busy period and needs reliable support to help keep payroll running smoothly, improve efficiency, and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Support daily payroll processing and administrative tasks
• Enter new hires and employee updates into the payroll system
• Process terminations accurately and efficiently
• Review employee data for completeness and accuracy
• Verify timecard details and investigate discrepancies
• Assist with account reconciliations and data matching
• Use Excel and VLOOKUPs to organize and analyze information
• Respond to emails and phone inquiries from a shared inbox
• Support the payroll team with additional tasks as needed

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Payroll knowledge or related payroll experience
• Comfort working with sensitive employee information
• Basic understanding of payroll concepts and employee data
• Excel experience, including VLOOKUPs
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic reconciliation and data review skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience supporting a payroll team
• Creative Excel usage for data manipulation
• Prior exposure to timecard review
• Experience handling shared inboxes or phone lines
• Ability to adapt quickly in a changing environment
• Strong team-first mindset
