Position: Claims Manager

Compensation: $100,000 – $125,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Claims Manager to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced leader to step into a high-impact role supporting a growing supplemental medical claims organization. You’ll oversee multiple supervisors and a large team, helping drive performance, consistency, and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead and support supervisors overseeing supplemental medical claims teams.
• Set clear performance goals and service expectations.
• Monitor workload trends and adjust staffing as needed.
• Coach leaders to strengthen team performance and engagement.
• Resolve complex claim situations with sound judgment.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Partner with leadership to improve processes and service quality.
• Support customer-focused claims decisions in ambiguous scenarios.
• Assist with escalated claim issues and legal matters when needed.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 6+ years of leadership or management experience.
• Experience leading supervisors or other people leaders.
• Proven success managing large teams or multi-layered teams.
• Strong coaching, accountability, and team development skills.
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to handle complex or unclear situations confidently.
• Strong diplomacy and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based software.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• 7-10+ years of experience in insurance-related roles.
• Supplemental medical, disability, or absence management experience.
• Experience in regulated environments such as insurance or healthcare.
• Knowledge of state and federal claim regulations.
• Familiarity with claims operations and customer-facing teams.
• Background supporting litigation or legal claim review.
• Experience with domestic or international market operations.
