Position: Insurance Claims Manager

Compensation: $100,000 – $125,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Insurance Claims Manager to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role supporting a rapidly growing supplemental medical claims organization. You’ll oversee multiple supervisors and a large customer-facing claims team, helping drive quality, consistency, and timely service in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead and support supervisors and claims professionals across multiple teams
• Set performance goals aligned with quality and service expectations
• Oversee timely and accurate claims processing
• Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations
• Monitor workloads and allocate resources based on business needs
• Coach leaders to improve performance and team engagement
• Resolve complex claims and operational issues with sound judgment
• Partner with leadership to improve processes and service quality
• Support legal-related claim matters when needed

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 6+ years of leadership or management experience
• Experience leading supervisors or other people leaders
• Proven ability to develop and hold leaders accountable
• Experience managing large teams or multiple layers of leadership
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to make sound decisions in complex situations
• Excellent diplomacy and conflict-resolution skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based software

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in an insurance-related role
• Supplemental medical, disability, or absence management experience
• Background in regulated industries such as insurance or healthcare
• Familiarity with claims involving gray-area decision making
• Experience supporting litigation or legal claim matters
• Knowledge of domestic or international market considerations
• Comfort learning new software and technology quickly

Other Information:

• This is a direct hire opportunity
• Fully onsite in Oklahoma City with four days required weekly
• Often operates onsite five days per week due to workload
• Oversees approximately 60 employees through 5-6 supervisors
• Role supports growth within the supplemental medical claims department
• Interview process includes recruiter screen, virtual manager interview, and onsite team interview
