Position: Mechanical Engineer II

Compensation: $85,000 – $115,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Mechanical Engineer II to join their team!

This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to exciting R&D and product development work for electromechanical products. You’ll be part of a collaborative engineering team focused on design, testing, validation, and product improvement. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys seeing ideas move from concept to real-world implementation.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems.
• Create 3D and 2D CAD models in SolidWorks.
• Support product testing and validation efforts.
• Collaborate with electrical and manufacturing teams.
• Improve existing products through design updates.
• Participate in new product development projects.
• Document technical work and design results clearly.
• Contribute to cross-functional engineering discussions.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 2–4 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong SolidWorks experience with 3D and 2D CAD.
• Experience with GD&T.
• Background in product testing and validation.
• R&D or product development experience.
• Ability to work onsite in Houston, Texas.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with instrumentation products.
• Electromechanical product design experience.
• Medical device experience.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Energy or oil and gas industry exposure.
• New product development experience.
• Experience improving existing products.
