Position: Financial Coordinator

Compensation: $24+/hour, depending on experience 

Location: Edmond, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Financial Coordinator to join their team!

This is an exciting direct hire opportunity within a growing patient benefits coordination team. In this role, you’ll help support patients through a critical part of their care journey by managing benefits verification, prior authorizations, and financial coordination tasks with accuracy and professionalism. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility for new and existing patients
• Process prior authorizations in a timely manner
• Calculate patient responsibility using insurance and pharmacy data
• Communicate payment expectations clearly with patients
• Review copay assistance and government program eligibility
• Process outside infusion referrals
• Review payment records and ensure proper fee collection
• Manage tasks and communications within the EHR system
• Support team operations with excellent patient service

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in medical insurance or benefits verification
• Experience with prior authorizations or medical billing
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to type 50 words per minute
• Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party vendors
• Experience working in an EHR system

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience in pharmacy, PBM, or specialty pharmacy settings
• Knowledge of patient assistance programs
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Background in healthcare, business, or finance
• Experience handling infusion referrals
• Familiarity with compliance-driven healthcare environments
