Position: Desktop Support Technician

Compensation: $30 – 34/hour, depending on experience

Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join their team!

Join a dynamic field support team providing hands-on technical support across a local office environment and surrounding locations. This is a great opportunity to support end users, manage IT assets, and keep daily operations running smoothly in a fast-paced corporate setting.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide L1-L2 technical support for local employees and visitors
• Troubleshoot desktops, phones, tablets, printers, and AV equipment
• Log, track, and resolve tickets in the service management system
• Provision and de-provision IT assets for employees
• Support local networking and coordinate with central support teams
• Maintain stockroom inventory and asset records
• Document support work and update knowledge resources
• Perform hardware testing and basic diagnostics
• Travel to nearby field offices as needed

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Associate’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent training
• 2-4 years of relevant technical support experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
• Basic knowledge of iPhones, iPads, and computer hardware
• Experience with O365 tools, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Office
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Comfort working in a professional, fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Apple Business Manager
• Experience supporting an MDM platform
• Exposure to AI tools
• Knowledge of internet directory services software
