Position: Network/System Administrator
Compensation: $40 – $58 /hour, depending on experience
Location: San Antonio, TX
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Network/System Administrator to join their team!
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Monitor OT systems including SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, servers, and networks
- Respond to alarms, alerts, and incidents within defined SLAs
- Perform initial troubleshooting to resolve common technical issues
- Provide basic support for OT servers, networks, and applications
- Assist with patching, maintenance, and performance checks
- Monitor system health, availability, and performance
- Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions
- Maintain operational documentation and procedures
- Generate routine system performance and availability reports
- Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 or engineering teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system changes and enhancements
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- Experience in a NOC or similar technical environment
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Operational Technology or industrial environment experience
- SCADA, PLC, or HMI experience
- Windows Server administration
- CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or ISA/IEC 62443 certification
- Experience supporting OT networks or infrastructure
