Position: Accounting Manager

Compensation: $95,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounting Manager to join their team!

This is a fantastic opportunity for an accounting professional who thrives in a hands-on leadership role. You’ll oversee a team of accountants, partner closely on month-end close, and support reporting, analysis, and special projects that keep the accounting function running smoothly. This role is open as a backfill for a recent internal promotion, offering a strong path to make an immediate impact with a stable and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead and support a team of six accountants.
• Oversee monthly reporting and reconciliations.
• Partner on month-end close activities and deadlines.
• Review journal entries, allocations, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting and financial analysis.
• Research monthly variances and reporting differences.
• Support acquisitions and system conversion projects.
• Prepare quarterly lease analysis.
• Provide documentation to auditors and examiners.
• Drive accounting process improvements and special projects.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Three or more years of accounting experience.
• Supervisory or management experience required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Banking industry experience.
• Experience with multiple entities or subsidiaries.
• Background in acquisitions or integrations.
• Experience supporting budgeting and analysis.
• Exposure to auditors or regulatory examiners.
• Comfort working in a changing environment.

Other Information:

• Fully onsite schedule, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Interview process includes 2-3 onsite rounds.
• Additional hours may be required during busy periods.
• This is a direct hire opportunity.
