Position: Database Developer

Compensation: $85,000 – $110,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Database Developer to join their team!

You’ll play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing database and data warehouse solutions that support critical business operations. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design and maintain database and data warehouse structures
• Develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures
• Extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems
• Improve performance through tuning, indexing, and optimization
• Support data quality, accuracy, and integrity across systems
• Create technical documentation, test plans, and conversion plans
• Investigate and resolve technical issues through debugging
• Collaborate with users and internal teams on data solutions
• Assist with database administration tasks and system maintenance

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience with data types and data type conversion
• Strong SQL Server expertise, including SSRS and SSIS
• Hands-on experience with MySQL
• Advanced knowledge of stored procedures and SQL best practices
• Experience with relational database and table design
• Working knowledge of data modeling and entity-relationship design
• Understanding of data sources such as ODBC, Excel, text, and XML
• Experience with source system data in SQL-based environments
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Aurora, Redshift, or Snowflake
• Familiarity with Pyramid or Power BI
• DBA knowledge, including jobs, permissions, indexes, and logs
• Experience in insurance or other regulated industries
• Familiarity with ETL development
• Experience working with a small development team
