Position: Cloud Platform Engineer

Compensation: $120,000 – $125,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a cloud operations professional who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges and keeping critical systems running smoothly. In this role, you’ll support a primarily AWS-based environment, work across cloud and edge platforms, and help improve reliability through automation, observability, and smarter operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Support AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC.
• Resolve Tier II/III incidents in a ticket-driven environment.
• Troubleshoot compute, storage, networking, and access issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, and observability practices.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.
• Automate repetitive tasks to reduce manual effort.
• Support edge compute and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Maintain runbooks, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Use AI tools to accelerate diagnostics and remediation.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 2-4+ years supporting cloud or infrastructure environments.
• 1-2+ years in a production infrastructure support role.
• Hands-on experience supporting AWS in production.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, preferably Terraform.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure layers.
• Experience in ticket-driven environments with SLAs.
• Working knowledge of Linux or Windows server environments.
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Ability to automate tasks with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.
• Must have supported an AWS environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with CloudFormation.
• Experience with Ansible or similar configuration tools.
• Exposure to virtualization or edge compute environments.
• Experience with cloud synchronization concepts.
• Containerization experience.
• Experience using AI tools for log analysis or incident triage.
• Cloud cost optimization experience.
• Experience improving reliability engineering practices.

• Direct hire opportunity with an interview process.
• Two interviews are planned, including a technical discussion.
• On-call rotation occurs once every eight weeks.
