Position: Senior Business Compliance & Payroll Manager

Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 

Location: Austin, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a growing organization to identify a Senior Business Compliance & Payroll Manager to join their team in Austin, TX. This role will be responsible for supporting compliance, payroll, tax, and legal operations while helping streamline processes and maintain accurate, timely records across the organization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage multi-state entity, payroll, tax, and compliance requirements
• Process end-to-end payroll through ADP, including tax filings and reconciliations
• Manage state and local registrations, licenses, filings, and renewals
• Coordinate legal requests and outside counsel relationships
• Maintain contracts, templates, renewals, and legal documentation
• Maintain a centralized compliance calendar and track deadlines
• Support new market launches and related compliance requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and best practices

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in compliance, business operations, contract management, payroll, or related field
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Experience developing processes and systems
• Strong communication, organization, and project coordination skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• ADP or other payroll platform experience
• Asana or similar project management software
• Google Workspace and Excel/Google Sheets
• CRM experience
• Multi-state compliance experience
• Legal operations or contract management experience

Other Information

• Hybrid position in Austin, TX, or open to relocation to Austin, TX
• Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Occasional after-hours availability for escalations
• Up to 10% travel
• No supervisory responsibilities
