Position: IT User Experience Manager

Compensation: $95,000 – $110,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Kansas City, Kansas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled IT User Experience Manager to join their team!

This is a hands-on opportunity for a player-coach who thrives on improving how technology is experienced by end users. You’ll sit at the intersection of IT, project teams, and business users to ensure new solutions are adopted smoothly, tested thoroughly, and supported with clear communication and training. If you enjoy leading a small team while staying close to the work, this role offers the chance to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead the user technical experience team and guide day-to-day priorities
• Support technology deployments from testing through production transition
• Identify and help resolve risks and issues during rollouts
• Gather user feedback and turn insights into improvement actions
• Partner with technical teams to refine tools and processes
• Promote successful technology adoption across the organization
• Serve as a hands-on problem solver for end user experience challenges

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience managing a team, ideally around five people or fewer
• Background in user experience, training, change management, or process improvement
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work directly with technical and business stakeholders
• Hands-on mindset with a willingness to stay involved in execution
• Experience supporting technology adoption or end user enablement
• Comfort receiving feedback and adjusting approach as needed

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience in IT user experience or similar support-focused roles
• Familiarity with deployment testing and production readiness
• Experience building or improving training materials
• Exposure to technical writing or QA collaboration
• Experience acting as a working manager or player-coach
• Background in cross-functional technology adoption initiatives
