Position: Cloud Data Engineer

Compensation: $ 70 – 100 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to join their team!

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on data engineer to help shape a modern Microsoft Fabric environment from the ground up. You’ll work across ERP, manufacturing, finance, and HR data, building scalable pipelines and trusted Lakehouse solutions that directly support analytics across the business.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design and build enterprise data pipelines for multiple source systems
• Develop ETL and ELT processes using Microsoft Fabric tools
• Support Lakehouse solutions using Medallion architecture
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production data pipelines
• Create reusable ingestion frameworks and integration patterns
• Collaborate with analysts and architects on trusted data models
• Use Azure DevOps and Git for source control and deployments
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and solution designs
• Support governance, security, and environment management
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• 3+ years of data engineering or cloud platform experience
• Minimum 6 months hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills
• Experience building ETL or ELT solutions
• Experience with cloud data platforms, preferably Azure
• Understanding of Medallion architecture concepts
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD practices
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• 1-2 years of Microsoft Fabric experience
• Experience with Fabric Data Factory, Lakehouse, or Notebooks
• Experience with Fabric Data Warehouse or OneLake
• Exposure to Azure Data Factory or Synapse
• Spark or PySpark experience
• ERP system experience such as SAP, D365, or JDE
• Microsoft Fabric or Azure certifications
• Manufacturing industry experience
• Experience supporting enterprise analytics platforms
