Position: Sales Tax Accountant

Compensation: $70,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Sales Tax Accountant to join their team!

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced tax environment where your work directly supports compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll join an established team with room to grow, and strong performers may be considered for a senior-level path based on experience.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Prepare and file monthly sales and use tax returns
• Support unclaimed property and business tax reporting
• Handle sales and use tax audits across multiple jurisdictions
• Communicate with state and local tax authorities
• Assist with special tax-related projects as needed
• Ensure filings are accurate and submitted on time

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 1–3 years of sales and use tax compliance experience
• Knowledge of multi-state sales and use tax processes
• Understanding of transactional taxes and related challenges
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a self-starter mindset
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Excel

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Retail sales tax compliance experience
• Exposure to high-volume, multi-jurisdiction tax environments
• Interest in growing into a senior-level role
• Prior audit support experience

• Onsite schedule: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
