Position: Software Engineer II
Compensation: $50 – $70 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Software Engineer II to join their team!
This is an exciting contract opportunity supporting a Food Technology team on major application modernization work. You’ll help rewrite existing applications and integrate them with new product and inventory management solutions, making a direct impact on important business operations.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET
- Support integration efforts with product and inventory systems
- Write and optimize SQL Server queries, tables, and stored procedures
- Build and maintain front-end features with modern web technologies
- Create and execute unit tests to support code quality
- Collaborate with team members in an agile environment
- Use version control tools to manage code changes
- Contribute to application rewrites and system improvements
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience with C#
- Experience with .NET Framework 4.8+ or .NET 8+
- 3+ years of Microsoft SQL Server experience
- Experience creating tables, indexes, stored procedures, and views
- Familiarity with ORM tools such as Entity Framework
- 3+ years of experience with HTML5, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Experience with a modern UI framework such as Angular, React, Vue, or Blazor
- 2+ years of unit testing experience with xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest
- Experience using Git or Azure Repos
- Comfort working in an agile development environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with multithreaded Windows Services
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture concepts
- Exposure to MQTT or similar messaging systems
- Experience with SSIS
- Familiarity with creating NuGet packages

Other Information:
- This is a contract role with no specific end date, currently expected through October 2027
- Fully onsite in Tulsa, with limited work-from-home flexibility as workload allows
- Must be able to communicate clearly and collaborate regularly with the team
