Position: Sr. Cloud Architect

Compensation: $ 200000 – 225000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Irving, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Sr. Cloud Architect to join their team!

This is a high-impact opportunity for a senior cloud leader who wants to shape multi-cloud strategy across a large, complex portfolio. You’ll define architecture standards, build scalable frameworks, and guide engineering teams as they deliver secure, production-ready cloud platforms. If you enjoy solving hard infrastructure problems and setting direction across AWS and Azure, this role offers a standout platform to make a broad impact.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Set cloud architecture standards and design principles across AWS and Azure
• Build guardrails for multi-account and multi-subscription environments
• Design landing zones, hub-and-spoke networks, and connectivity patterns
• Lead Kubernetes architecture across managed AKS and EKS platforms
• Shape cloud networking, private DNS, private endpoints, and hybrid connectivity
• Develop data platform architecture and governance patterns
• Define Terraform standards and reusable infrastructure modules
• Partner with engineering teams on design reviews and technical escalation
• Create documentation, runbooks, and enablement materials for scale
• Support AI-enabled engineering workflows and platform innovation

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 7-10 years of cloud architecture or infrastructure engineering experience
• Strong production experience across AWS and Azure
• Hands-on experience with multi-account and multi-subscription governance
• Background in managed Kubernetes platforms, including AKS and EKS
• Deep knowledge of cloud networking and hybrid connectivity
• Experience building infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Proven ability to define cloud guardrails and policy-based controls
• Clear communication skills for technical and senior stakeholder discussions
• Ability to work independently with strong ownership

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Cloud certification such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• AWS Solutions Architect certification
• Experience with cloud data platforms and medallion architecture
• Exposure to AI inference gateways or model serving infrastructure
• Experience with GPU workloads or ML platforms
• Background in regulated or high-availability environments
• Network engineering foundation or CCNA-level knowledge
• Experience with HPC or scientific workloads
