Position: Asset Management Specialist

Compensation: $40 – 50 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled EAM Specialist to join their team!

This is a strong contract opportunity for a detail-driven professional who enjoys working across asset records, inventory, and project closeouts. You’ll play a key role in keeping data accurate, resolving discrepancies, and supporting critical financial and operational processes within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Review project closeout files and supporting documentation for accuracy
• Maintain asset records within JDE/EAM systems
• Research and resolve asset and inventory discrepancies
• Support CWIP-to-fixed-asset transitions with Property Accounting
• Review capital spares and M&S inventory classifications
• Assist with inventory reconciliation and data quality efforts
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Maintenance teams
• Help standardize asset management and closeout processes

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Experience in asset management, inventory management, or related industries preferred
• Working knowledge of JD Edwards preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Understanding of fixed assets, inventory, and financial processes
• Experience with data analysis, reconciliation, and issue resolution
• Ability to review complex operational and financial information
• Strong communication and attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Oil and gas or energy industry experience
• Construction or project closeout experience
• Experience supporting warehouse or inventory operations
• Process improvement mindset
• Experience working across cross-functional teams
