Position: Security Analyst

Compensation: $80,000 – $130,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Fully Remote, Colorado Candidates Preferred

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Security Analyst to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented security professional who enjoys protecting systems, strengthening access controls, and responding quickly to emerging threats. You’ll play a key role in supporting cybersecurity operations, improving visibility across the environment, and helping build a more secure future for the organization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Monitor for suspicious activity and investigate potential security incidents
• Support vulnerability assessments and security audits
• Implement and maintain security protocols and controls
• Respond to phishing emails and other reported threats
• Review user access and support least-privilege practices
• Manage onboarding and offboarding access workflows
• Document incidents, findings, and remediation efforts clearly
• Recommend tools and countermeasures to improve security posture
• Collaborate with teams to embed security best practices
• Help educate employees on security awareness and safe practices

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 2-5 years of IT experience
• 1-2 years of public cloud experience
• 1-2 years in enterprise IT environments
• Strong understanding of network security concepts
• Experience responding to security incidents
• Ability to document findings with clarity and accuracy
• Familiarity with PCI-DSS or similar regulatory standards
• Knowledge of Azure public cloud environments
• Understanding of NIST and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks
• Experience building SIEM rules and alerts

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or Information Security
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Certified Ethical Hacker certification
• Experience with endpoint security tools
• Exposure to PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting
• Knowledge of CIS security standards
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel SIEM
• Background supporting security awareness training
