Position: Business Analyst

Compensation: $65,000-79,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Business Analyst to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented Business Analyst who enjoys partnering with both technical and business teams to turn ideas into clear, actionable work. In this role, you’ll help shape application improvements, support testing and acceptance, and contribute to meaningful process enhancements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead requirements sessions with internal stakeholders
• Translate business needs into actionable work items
• Document functional and technical requirements clearly
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and business partners
• Support testing and validate acceptance criteria
• Assist with break-fix triage and issue analysis
• Review solutions for alignment with enterprise standards
• Help manage project scope and delivery expectations
• Build process workflows to support business needs

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar experience
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience
• Experience in a software development environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to gather and document requirements effectively
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Comfortable supporting testing and issue resolution

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Insurance industry experience
• Working knowledge of SQL queries
• Data analysis experience
• Familiarity with IT support and security concepts
• Knowledge of governance or cybersecurity-related policies
• Experience building business process workflows
