Compensation: $85k-100k/yr 

Location: Oklahoma City, OK 

Position: Sr. CapEx Accountant 

Inceed has partnered with a reputable company to help find a skilled Senior Accountant to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. In this role, you will take ownership of monthly capital expenditure (CapEx) reporting and analysis while working closely with both Accounting and Operations teams. This position plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting of capital projects. It’s a fantastic opportunity to join a company that values precision, teamwork, and continuous improvement—and is currently growing! This role is open due to expansion within the team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and calculate monthly CapEx accruals

• Analyze and review monthly gross and net CapEx activity

• Collaborate with Operations to provide accounting guidance on capital expenditures

• Identify and correct coding errors for capital projects

• Create monthly CapEx reporting and presentation materials for leadership

• Assist in AFE (Authorization for Expenditure) request management

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)

• 5+ years of Oil & Gas accounting experience

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial reporting

• Proven accuracy, analytical mindset, and organizational skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with SAP

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset
