Compensation: $48-55/hr

Position: Senior Network Engineer

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join their team!

the Senior Network Engineer will have extensive experience in Cisco networking technologies, including hands-on expertise with Cisco switches (9300, 9500, and 9600 series). The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network infrastructure, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a proven track record of successful network implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures with a focus on Cisco technologies.

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco switches (9300, 9500, 9600 series), routers, and other network devices.

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for network-related issues, including performance optimization and fault isolation.

• Conduct network assessments, identify potential issues, and recommend solutions to improve performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the design and deployment of network solutions aligned with business requirements.

• Implement and manage VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and other network protocols to ensure high network availability.

• Monitor network performance using network management tools and implement appropriate changes to optimize performance.

• Perform regular backups, software upgrades, and patching on network devices to ensure up-to-date security and functionality.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco technologies.

• Extensive experience with Cisco Catalyst switches, particularly 9300, 9500, and 9600 series.

• Strong understanding of network protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and MPLS.

• Proven experience in network design, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
   

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• CCNP Certification. At the very least, a CCNA Certification.
