Compensation: $85,000 – $100,000
Location: Hybrid – Tulsa, Oklahoma
Position: Systems Engineer

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Systems Engineer to join their team! In this role, the Systems Engineer will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and optimizing the next-generation infrastructure platform. Focus areas include automation, cloud-native architecture, and platform engineering. The opportunity provides a chance to drive modernization efforts using Infrastructure as Code, advanced automation, and DevOps practices while maintaining security, scalability, and reliability across hybrid environments that include both cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage platform-as-a-service solutions, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, API gateways, and GitOps workflows.
• Architect hybrid cloud solutions, manage data center infrastructure, implement network automation, and ensure security and disaster recovery.
• Build infrastructure-as-code solutions, automate deployments, establish configuration management, and implement compliance controls.
• Lead incident response, capacity planning, performance optimization, and observability solutions while maintaining technical documentation and collaborating cross-functionally.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in enterprise IT environments, with a proven track record in infrastructure engineering, automation, and hybrid cloud architectures, including both cloud and on-prem (hybrid) environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-scale hybrid cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem infrastructure.
• Proficient in multi-cloud environments, hybrid connectivity, software-defined networking, and security architecture.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams, translating complex infrastructure concepts into actionable strategies.
• Adept at managing projects, prioritizing tasks, and balancing strategic initiatives with operational needs.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• AWS/Azure/GCP Professional Certifications.
• DevOps/SRE Certifications.
• ITIL Certification.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture, security monitoring, compliance automation, and disaster recovery best practices.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and automation frameworks to optimize infrastructure workflows.
