Compensation: $40-55/hr

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Position: Quality Assurance Engineer

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team!

The QA Engineer will play a key role in driving best practices for testing while influencing the broader development process. It’s an exciting chance to make an impact within a tech-forward team, utilizing both new and established tools and frameworks to improve reliability and performance.

Responsibilities:
• Plan, execute, and automate various types of testing including regression, functional, and performance
• Collaborate with developers, business partners, and stakeholders to ensure quality across the lifecycle
• Maintain and enhance automation frameworks and testing tools
• Analyze test results, document findings, and recommend improvements
• Support user acceptance testing and defect resolution

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• 3–5 years of development and QA testing experience
• Proficiency in at least one programming language
• Hands-on experience with SQL and automation scripting
• Strong knowledge of test planning and execution
• Experience with tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• Exposure to performance/load testing practices
• Familiarity with model-based or record-and-replay testing approaches
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration
• Knowledge of application performance monitoring tools
• Participation in QA communities of practice
