Compensation: $30-45/hr

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Position: User Experience Designer

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled User Experience Designer to join their team! 
As part of a collaborative and agile environment, this role will focus on designing seamless user experiences for both web and mobile platforms. The team values user-centered design and is looking for someone who can balance innovation with practical functionality. It’s a chance to influence design strategy while working closely with product, development, and business teams.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis
• Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups aligned with user and business needs
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
• Present design concepts to stakeholders with clear rationale
• Maintain and enhance design systems and component libraries

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a design-related field
• 2–5+ years of hands-on UI/UX design experience in agile environments
• Proficiency in tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision
• Strong portfolio with UX case studies and user interface examples
• Solid grasp of UX principles, visual design, and accessibility standards

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
• Background in SaaS, enterprise, or mobile-first product design
• Understanding of responsive design techniques
• Ability to rapidly iterate designs based on user feedback
