Compensation: $60k-75k/yr 

Location: Oklahoma City, OK 

Position: Accounts Receivable Analyst
 

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their team!

As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining strong relationships with working interest owners. It’s a great fit for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems through research and communication.
 

Responsibilities:

• Accurately book inbound deposits

• Review JIB account balances monthly to determine collectability

• Follow up on non-payments, delayed payments, and irregularities

• Communicate with working interest owners to resolve billing discrepancies

• Ensure accurate and timely billing of third-party invoices

• Prepare reports related to outstanding balances and disputed items

• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations

• Process journal entries for expense reclasses

• Support monthly reporting and executive accounting analysis
   

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (required)

• At least 1+ year of oil & gas accounting experience

• At least 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Strong knowledge of joint interest billing and general accounting principles
   

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with SAP

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
