Compensation: $65,000 – $85,000
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Position: Statutory Accountant
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Statutory Accountant to step into a hands-on accounting role within a leading corporate insurance company. The role involves comprehensive financial reporting, including auditing statutory accounts, preparing and reconciling financial statements, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Support the financial reporting process, including data analysis and financial statement preparation
• Audit statutory accounts with a focus on legal and regulatory compliance
• Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
• Reconcile financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain high accounting standards and contribute to continuous improvement

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in auditing and financial reporting (statutory accounts, financial statements, etc.)
• Strong understanding of cash flow, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Prior public accounting experience
• Familiarity with financial reporting within regulated industries like insurance or energy
