Compensation: $60-$65/hr 

Location: San Antonio, TX 

Position: Business Systems Analyst 

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a long-term contract supporting high-impact construction and project management applications. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that includes engineers, project control specialists, and corporate leadership, helping to evolve tools that are central to budgeting, forecasting, and project execution. You’ll work hands-on with both users and technical teams to lead data integration, UAT, and application modernization strategies!

Responsibilities:

• Support and help modernize Project Server 2019, transitioning it to Project Online, including data extraction, UAT, and validation.

• Evaluate and break down a monolithic in-house app into a microservices model.

• Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to understand functionality and define strategic execution plans.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 4+ years of business analysis experience in application support or implementation.

• Strong understanding of business applications, their configuration, and functional support.

• Ability to write and understand SQL queries; knowledge of how databases support applications (tables, stored procedures, app integration).

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and environments.

• Comfortable interfacing with architects and technical teams while translating functional needs.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with tools such as Microsoft Project, Procore, Prometheus Group apps, Autodesk, or Hexagon.

• Background in the energy or construction industries.

• Familiarity with applications involving AFE routing, budget forecasting, or SAP integrations.
