Compensation: $30-35/hr 

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Position: Buyer II

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Buyer II to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity with a well-established and innovative manufacturer that’s a leader in its industry. The Buyer will play a key role in supporting procurement operations, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring materials are acquired efficiently and cost-effectively to meet production demands. 

Responsibilities:

• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and delivery terms

• Create and manage purchase orders while maintaining accurate records in ERP or procurement systems

• Monitor inventory levels and assist in analyzing purchasing needs to support business operations

• Communicate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and resolve discrepancies

• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., warehouse, finance, logistics) to ensure smooth procurement flow

• Track supplier performance and assist in reporting on procurement KPIs

• Stay informed on market trends, product innovations, and potential alternative suppliers

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management in a manufacturing setting

• Demonstrated success managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts in a manufacturing environment

• Proficiency with procurement software (PRMS, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems)

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)

• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills

• Understanding of ISO standards and manufacturing compliance requirements

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with contract management tools

• Familiarity with market trend analysis for purchasing decisions

• Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced manufacturing environments
