Compensation: $30-35/hr

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Position: Buyer

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Buyer to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity with a stable and growing organization that values efficiency and innovation in supply chain operations. The Buyer will be integral in managing procurement processes, evaluating suppliers, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. 

Responsibilities:

• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and delivery terms

• Create and manage purchase orders while maintaining accurate records in ERP or procurement systems

• Monitor inventory levels and assist in analyzing purchasing needs to support business operations

• Communicate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and resolve discrepancies

• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., warehouse, finance, logistics) to ensure smooth procurement flow

• Track supplier performance and assist in reporting on procurement KPIs

• Stay informed on market trends, product innovations, and potential alternative suppliers

• Support the Senior Buyer or Procurement Manager with strategic sourcing initiatives

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a supply chain-related role

• Strong organizational and analytical skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel with V-LOOKUPS, Pivot Tables)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with ERP/procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
