Compensation: $95k – $110k/yr

Location: Oklahoma City, OK – Onsite

Position: Senior Financial Accountant

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join their team!

This organization is a leader in the oil and gas field services industry and is seeking a motivated and experienced accounting professional to take ownership of key financial functions. This is a high-impact opportunity where the Senior Financial Accountant will play a critical role in the month-end close, financial reporting, audits, and operational process improvement. With consistent growth and a strong financial foundation, the company is looking to add a driven individual who is excited to grow and evolve with a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and input general ledger entries for GAAP and internal accounting

• Participate in month-end close activities, including reconciliations and financial statement analysis

• Support PBC requests and footnote documentation for audits

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting

• Research and analyze accounts; prepare journal entries and reconciliations

• Assist in financial, tax, vendor, and other audits

• Conduct GAAP research and advise on changes in accounting policy and methodology

• Drive process and control improvements across the accounting department

Required Qualifications & Experience: 

• BS/BA/MS in Accounting or Finance (required)

• CPA  preferred

• 3–5 years of accounting experience

• Strong financial analysis and audit background

• Senior Audit Associate experience in a CPA firm is highly preferred

• Oil and gas or oilfield services industry experience preferred

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Technical GAAP research expertise

• Experience with NetSuite ERP

• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze and present data effectively
