Position: Senior Developer 

Compensation: $140,000 – $150,000

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Developer to join their team!

Are you ready to elevate your career as a Senior Developer? Our client is seeking a talented individual to design, build, and optimize cutting-edge applications and data systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on advanced programming, database optimization, and cloud integration. Join a collaborative team and contribute to delivering reliable and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop and maintain applications using Python, JavaScript (Node/React), and related frameworks.
• Optimize PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB databases for real-time performance
• Manage Linux systems and support system architecture
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines and cloud solutions in Azure
• Collaborate with teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Provide rotating on-call support every four weeks

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of development experience with Python, SQL, and Linux
• Strong experience with databases and cloud DevOps tools
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Performance tuning of PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB
• Knowledge of GIS concepts or data visualization
• Experience with machine learning for forecasting or anomaly detection
• Familiarity with automation and real-time data applications

Other Information:

• Hybrid work schedule: 3 days onsite (Mon/Tues/Wed)
• 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off
