Position: Infrastructure Engineer

Compensation: $ 95,000 – 120,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Lenexa, Kansas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join their team!

Join a dynamic tech team where you'll design, implement, and maintain a secure hybrid infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies like Microsoft Azure and Azure Virtual Desktop, ensuring compliance with security frameworks. You'll be a key player in a collaborative environment, supporting a single organization with end-to-end responsibility for infrastructure architecture and compliance documentation. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design and manage Azure environments, including Virtual Desktops
• Administer Windows Server systems and virtualization platforms
• Implement and maintain network security and performance
• Ensure compliance with CMMC, NIST, and CIS frameworks
• Support end users and collaborate cross-functionally
• Develop technical documentation and system diagrams
• Manage backup, restore, and patch management procedures
• Lead vulnerability management and incident response efforts

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of IT experience in systems engineering or networking
• Expertise in Azure and on-premises environments
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
• Knowledge of encryption standards and data protection practices
• Familiarity with cost management within Azure environments
