Position: Network Field Engineer

Compensation: $50 – $65/hour, depending on experience

Location: Cambridge, Ohio

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Network Field Engineer to join their team!

Join an innovative team as a Network Field Engineer, supporting and maintaining critical network infrastructure across office and remote oil & gas well sites. This role is onsite in Cambridge, OH, with frequent field travel to troubleshoot, repair, and deploy network equipment. This position offers a strong opportunity to convert to full-time after the contract period.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Troubleshoot and maintain Cisco routers and switches
• Provision and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls
• Travel to well sites to resolve network issues
• Deploy new network devices
• Support satellite and remote connectivity solutions
• Maintain network equipment inventory
• Collaborate with field operations teams
• Participate in after-hours emergency on-call

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 3+ years of networking experience
• Experience in field or industrial environments preferred
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and TCP/IP fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with Cisco network equipment
• Ability to travel regularly to remote well sites
• Valid driver’s license

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• CCNA certification
• Experience with Fortinet (FortiGate) firewalls
• Starlink or satellite connectivity experience
• Field Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) exposure
