Compensation: 90,000-115,000

Location: Boulder, CO

Position: Senior Software QA

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Software QA to join their team!

This role is ideal for a QA professional who enjoys digging deep into systems, validating data, and ensuring high-quality software releases. The Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst will lead and support testing efforts across multiple projects, working closely with team members to ensure business and technical requirements are fully validated. 

Responsibilities:

• Create and execute test plans and test cases for new features and releases.

• Perform manual testing of web applications, APIs, and backend systems.

• Write SQL queries to validate and verify database data.

• Track, document, and retest product defects.

• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to support quality throughout the SDLC.

• Review requirements to ensure complete test coverage.

• Provide guidance and support to QA team members and share testing knowledge.

• Participate in meetings to provide QA input on testing scope and timelines.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance testing.

• Experience working in Agile development environments and familiarity with testing tools.

• Strong proficiency writing and executing SQL queries and validating data in relational databases.

• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and database-driven systems.

• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and Windows-based environments.

• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Experience guiding or supporting QA team members on testing efforts.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Postman and API testing tools.

• Exposure to automated testing tools, including load and performance testing (UFT/QTP preferred).

• Experience collaborating with DevOps teams on CI/CD and testing integration.

• Background working in complex enterprise or data-heavy environments.
