Compensation: $28-$31/hr 

Location: Nashville, TN

Position: IT Project Engineer

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled IT Project Engineer to join their team!

This is a hands-on, client-facing role responsible for delivering end-to-end IT infrastructure solutions, including client onboarding, network deployments, and Microsoft cloud migrations. The IT Project Engineer partners with sales, account management, and service teams to ensure smooth project execution, strong documentation, and high-quality delivery. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys owning projects end-to-end and working directly with clients in a consultative, problem-solving capacity! 

Responsibilities:

• Lead client onboarding (workstations, servers, AD, M365 environments)
• Design and deploy network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, routers, wireless)
• Implement and migrate Microsoft 365 environments (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, Azure AD)
• Execute email, file, and cloud migrations with minimal downtime
• Support discovery, scoping, and SOW creation
• Act as client-facing technical lead for updates, troubleshooting, and solution guidance
• Collaborate with sales, ops, and service teams to ensure successful delivery
• Maintain technical documentation (diagrams, configs, onboarding records)

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 3–5+ years IT support, systems, or engineering experience with project work
• Strong AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server experience
• Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, Azure AD)
• Network infrastructure experience (firewalls, switches, routers, wireless—Cisco/Meraki/SonicWall/Ubiquiti)
• Experience with migrations (email, file, cloud)
• Ability to scope solutions and communicate across technical/non-technical audiences
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• MSP experience
• RMM/PSA tools (ConnectWise, Autotask, NinjaRMM, etc.)
• Backup & DR tools (Datto, Veeam, Acronis)
• VMware or Hyper-V experience
• Certifications (Network+, Security+, CCNA, Microsoft/Azure)
