Position: Principal IT Project Manager

Compensation: $60-$85/hr, depending on experience 

Location: Garner, North Carolina

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Principal IT Project Manager to join their team!

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned project manager to lead enterprise-level projects and work closely with business partners to align project outcomes with strategic goals. 

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead cross-functional, enterprise-wide IT projects
• Mentor and develop project management peers
• Provide strategic expertise for technology selection
• Oversee vendor partnerships and project financials
• Identify and resolve project risks and issues
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Direct implementation of complex IT initiatives
• Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends
• Conduct post-implementation reviews

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent
• 8+ years of IT/technical project management experience
• Project Management Professional Certification
• Experience leading business projects across various areas
• Proficient in Microsoft Suites and project management tools

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Familiarity with ITIL, Six Sigma, or Lean methodologies
• 5+ years of IT systems technical experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of ERP or MES systems
• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
