Position: SAP ABAP Developer

Compensation: $ 125,000 – $140,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Kansas City, Kansas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled SAP ABAP Developer to join their team!

This is a hands-on opportunity to support and expand SAP S/4HANA technical solutions within a stable, enterprise environment. You’ll partner closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact development, interface support, and clean-core solutions that keep critical processes running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design, develop, test, and support SAP technical solutions
• Translate functional needs into technical designs and estimates
• Build reports, enhancements, workflows, forms, and classes
• Develop and support IDoc interfaces and error handling
• Troubleshoot integration issues and data inconsistencies
• Monitor queues and resolve interface processing problems
• Optimize ABAP programs for performance and reliability
• Apply clean-core and approved extensibility practices
• Support SAP development across multiple functional modules

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience
• Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA
• Strong skills in reports, BADIs, forms, workflows, and OOP ABAP
• Experience with IDocs, ALE, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs, and web services
• Experience resolving production interface and data issues
• Exposure to SAP modules such as SD, FICO, MM, PP, WM, or HCM

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with SAP BTP and SAP Build
• Knowledge of CDS views and SAP HANA
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development
• Familiarity with ABAP Development Tools
• Understanding of ABAP Cloud concepts
• Side-by-side extensibility experience
• Experience using AI-enabled development tools
