Position: Senior Buyer

Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Boulder, CO

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Buyer to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a purchasing professional who enjoys managing supplier relationships, driving cost savings, and supporting a fast-moving manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring materials, equipment, and services are sourced efficiently, accurately, and on time.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage supplier relationships and maintain accurate lead times.
• Oversee blanket purchase order requirements and delivery schedules.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and purchase agreements.
• Prepare and evaluate RFPs and RFIs.
• Monitor vendor compliance and purchase order accuracy.
• Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular reviews.
• Coordinate with internal teams to support purchasing needs.
• Analyze costs and identify savings opportunities.
• Generate reports and purchasing activity summaries.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of supply chain, procurement, or sourcing experience.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of MRP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• CPM or APICS certification.
• Knowledge of Syteline ERP.
• Understanding of contract law.
• Background in accounting or quantitative analysis.
• Experience with make-versus-buy analysis.
• Familiarity with supplier scorecards and QBRs.
• Experience supporting cross-functional purchasing initiatives.
