Position: Controller

Compensation: $135,000 – $150,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Overland Park, Kansas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Controller to join their team!

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and making a real difference. You’ll support two high-volume divisions, partner closely with Operations leadership, and own the financial story behind the numbers. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy digging into transaction-level detail, and want a role where your insights directly influence business decisions, this could be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage and develop a small accounting team
• Own month-end close and financial reporting
• Deliver accurate, timely results and variance analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense management
• Analyze transaction-level data to identify trends and opportunities
• Partner with Operations to improve profitability and controls
• Prepare ad hoc reporting and management analysis
• Support entity-level franchising and royalty reporting requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 8–10 years of progressive accounting or finance experience preferred
• Experience in operational accounting or financial leadership
• Strong month-end close and financial reporting background
• Proven ability to analyze large volumes of detailed data
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ability to partner effectively with Operations leadership
• Experience managing or mentoring accounting staff
• Strong communication and business partnering skills
• Background in public accounting or corporate finance is valuable

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Public accounting experience
• Experience in multi-unit or high-volume environments
• Experience working with POS-driven data
• Strong operational finance and analytics background
• Experience improving processes and financial controls
