Position: Global Category Leader, Indirect Services

Compensation: $ 180000 – 200000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Irving, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Global Category Leader, Indirect Services to join their team!

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a procurement professional who thrives in fast-paced, strategic environments. You’ll own enterprise-wide category strategy across key indirect services spend and help shape how the organization partners with suppliers, drives value, and supports global business needs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead and develop a team of category managers.
• Own global category strategies for indirect services.
• Direct major sourcing events and commercial negotiations.
• Define preferred supplier models and rationalization plans.
• Support regional teams with tools, benchmarks, and playbooks.
• Build strong partnerships with executive stakeholders.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and governance.
• Track savings, risks, and opportunity pipelines.
• Ensure compliance, risk, and responsible sourcing standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 7+ years of procurement, sourcing, or category management experience.
• Strong background in indirect services categories.
• Proven people leadership and team management experience.
• Experience owning global or multi-region category strategy.
• Background leading complex services negotiations.
• Experience working in a global-plus-regional operating model.
• Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid analytical skills in spend analysis and business cases.
• SAP Procure-to-Pay experience required.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 10%.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• 8-12 years of overall procurement or category management experience.
• Depth in HR services, professional services, or facilities.
• Coupa, SAP Ariba, Ivalua, Zip, or Oracle experience.
• CLM platform experience.
• Exposure to contingent labor or MSP/VMS programs.
• Experience with worker-classification considerations.
• CPSM, MCIPS, or similar certification.

• Lead a team of approximately 9-10 direct reports.
• Role supports a 12-person procurement team.
• Travel is expected 1-2 times per quarter.
