Position: Fabrication Engineer

Compensation: $85,000 – $95,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Fabrication Engineer to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on engineering professional who enjoys connecting design with manufacturing. In this role, you will support fabrication operations by creating SolidWorks designs, developing nesting files, and partnering closely with engineering and production teams to improve efficiency and output. The team is looking for someone who can bring technical problem-solving skills, communicate well across departments, and help support a growing operation with room to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design mechanical components and assemblies in SolidWorks
• Prepare detailed part and assembly drawings
• Create nesting files for CNC cutting equipment
• Support engineering proposals and submittals
• Collaborate with production teams on fabrication issues
• Improve material usage and workflow efficiency
• Maintain organized fabrication drawing and model libraries
• Assist with troubleshooting design and nesting outputs

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 3-5 years of related engineering experience
• Mechanical engineering background preferred
• SolidWorks design experience
• Experience creating fabrication or production drawings
• Ability to work with CNC fabrication processes
• Strong collaboration skills across engineering and manufacturing teams
• Understanding of manufacturability and assembly considerations

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Electrical or industrial engineering background
• Experience with CNC nesting operations
• Knowledge of machine robotics
• Experience supporting welding or laser operations
• Familiarity with structural parts and panel design
• Experience improving fabrication workflows
