Position: Accounts Payable Coordinator

Compensation: $25 – $25 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for an AP professional who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. You’ll support the accounting and finance team with high-volume invoice processing, vendor support, and month-end activities while helping keep financial operations moving smoothly.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Process invoices accurately in high-volume AP workflows
• Verify coding, approvals, and supporting documentation
• Handle expense reports, payment vouchers, and check requests
• Support vendor inquiries and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Assist with new vendor setup and account maintenance
• Review invoices for proper service periods and payment details
• Prepare checks for mailing and confirm accuracy
• Support month-end close and audit documentation
• Maintain confidentiality and follow accounting policies

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience
• Experience in full-cycle, high-volume AP environments
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
• Experience with NetSuite

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Experience with Symbeo
• Experience with Logix
• Experience with Expensify
• Knowledge of non-PO and three-way match processes
• Understanding of 1099 processing
• Exposure to internal controls
